Christopher Designs Engagement Ring with .34ct. L’Amour Crisscut® oval diamond center. Halo design accented with .28cttw round cut diamonds falling halfway around a delicately split shank shown in 18K white gold. Dome halo design ring features split pave set shank with diamonds going halfway around the finger. Each mounting is unique with its own serial number. The arrangement of the 77 (versus the generic 46) “crisscrossed” facets redefined just how brilliant a diamond could be. This facet arrangement was initially used for emerald shapes and later for the Crisscut® Cushion. The Brilliant Crisscut® earned its trademark for remarkable engineering. This unique stone has 109 facets. Although it appears round, the Brilliant Crisscut® actually has 12 straight walls and 12 sides, creating the illusion of an exquisitely scalloped border. The criss cut diamond is a new variation of the emerald cut diamond, which is known for its step-cut design. It has more facets than a regular cut emerald diamond, resulting in superior fire and brilliance. It is more forgiving in SI qualities, “face up” whiter and has superior brilliance compared to its emerald and baguette counterparts. The criss cut diamond shape is a patented cut created by Christopher Slowinski. The 14K white gold diamond band contains nineteen (19) round brilliant cut diamonds, weighing a total of approximately .17 carats. The diamonds have Si-2 clarity and H-I color. The band weighs approximately 1.2 grams. The two (2) rings are soldered together and weigh approximately 4.6 grams as a set. The set comes in the original packaging (interior and exterior boxes).
