I'm not certain but the sheen and the feel seems like the part of the fabric may be rayon. The waistband embellishment is a pleated floral print with peach and dark coral roses and light yellow to gold roses with green leaves. The Pleating is all shimmery gold. This is a fabulous pairing on a soft and smooth neutral colored fabric that is as soft and smooth to the touch as a baby's cheeks. It has a Darting for for a shaping and a kick pleat in back to ease walking and sitting. This was and still is a well crafted dress!
