This collection of cocktail stems is a limited numbered edition. The cocktail glass, the union of Venetian glass and silver-plated metal stem , is a symbol of creativity and originality reflected by a sophisticated object of the highest elegance. The original Martini glass was a set of 2 made for a Bombay Sapphire ad in 1992. In 1998 Bombay Sapphire released the rights and Christofle manufactured a limited run of 200 - this is marked No. 030 along with Christofle at the base. It's fitted the original silk-lined box. Since 1978, Adam D Tihany has become a prevailing figure in all aspects of design. As an architect, he designs buildings and creates interior decoration. In addition, he designs furniture and special objects which have been displayed in many expositions. Considered as one of the world's preeminent restaurant designers, he has designed: the King David Hotel in Jerusalem; 'le Cirque 2000" in New York and "Monte's" in London.Approximate Measurements: The height of the whole piece is 7 3/4", diameter of cocktail glass is 5", diameter of the base 2 1/2". Original padded box measures 9" height, 6" square top and bottom. Slight scratch on glass. Hardly noticeable. Note: The glass is intended to be lifted from the stand and will sit on it's own.
