Description: CHRISTIAN DIOR Costume Jewelry Flower Brooch with Large "Pearl Gold & Diamonds" A beautiful Christian Dior vintage flower brooch for you, just in time for the holidays - I know this is a vintage piece - because it was my mother's! The brooch features a five-petaled gold-toned flower looking something like a dogwood blossom. The petals are intricately grooved and ridged and molded in a realistic wavy petal shape. At the center is a large white pearl measuring approximately 7/16". Surrounding the pearl are 15 diamonte/rhinestone/diamond-like stones. It is a costume jewelry piece, masquerading as realistic - it looks like its real gold, pearl and diamonds, as all the really top level costume jewelry pieces do. At the back, is a 1 1/4" brooch pin which fastens with a C-clasp. The logo is on a .25" cartouche, just below center back, and reads, "Chr.Dior C" - the C is in a copyright circle. From the web, "Jewelry produced from the mid-1950s through the 1970s by Henkel & Grosse is usually marked with an oval cartouche reading Chr. Dior with a copyright symbol." Check. An elegant, classy and timeless piece - it's not ever going out of fashion. In excellent condition. The piece measures approximately 1 1/2" around and weighs 0.5 ounces prior to wrapping and shipping and comes to you in a small box, inside another small box. Thanks for the looky-loo!
