In the territory of Burma, the same wild tea trees grow (of course, there are plantations too), but the cost of harvesting is significantly lower there due to various reasons. However, Burmese tea leaves, overall, are on par with those from Yunnan by their quality. For the production of this tea, I selected leaves from ancient tea trees (Gu Shu category) aged between 300 and 500 years. All other production processes, except for the tea raw material collection, were carried out at a factory in Yunnan province under the supervision of experienced tea technologists. The taste naturally carries more typical puer characteristics rather than Heicha (dark chinese tea): notes of plum, woody tone, and hints of coffee.
