The always-drowsy manager Shi Gandang (Gordon Liu) may look like a muddle-headed old man, but he actually hides a mysterious past that nobody knows of. And then there is the messenger Ma Dalu (Julian Cheung), who has been through lots of strange incidents and adventures on the Silk Road. Besides the core trio, the series also features a host of intriguing side characters portrayed by stars like Lam Ka Tung, Ken Tong, and Max Mok.
