The coin launches a series of coins "Chornobyl. Revival" series. It is a paradox, but the man-made disaster gave nature a unique chance for revival, which it took full advantage of. In 2016, the largest and youngest object of Ukraine's nature reserve fund, the Chornobyl Radiation and Ecological Biosphere Reserve, was created on the territory affected by the Chornobyl accident. This territory has become a kind of reserve for the reproduction of not only common but also rare Red Data Book species.
