Description: Chechen is sometimes called Caribbean Rosewood, not a true Dalbergia, Dense, heavy and hard, somewhat reminiscent of Snakewood. Backs 10.5"x 4.7" x .125 sanded to 120 grit". Sides 15.7"x 2.3" x .125"sanded to 120 grit. Some sets shown sprayed with mineral spirits to show figure, others dry. The dry sets are priced slightly lower to reflect the cost of spraying solvents. *note: Soprano is the smallest of the ukulele sizes, it is not the same as a Concert (slightly larger), please check your pattern to make sure this wood is big enough for what you plan to build before you buy it, Thanks,Chris
