Description: Chattanooga, TENNESSEE - Lookout Mountain - Rock City Gardens - Cinderella 1949: Lookout Mountain is a mountain ridge located at the northwest corner of the U.S. state of Georgia, the northeast corner of Alabama, and along the Tennessee state line in Chattanooga. Lookout Mountain was the scene of the "Last Battle of the Cherokees" during the Nickajack Expedition, which took place in the 18th century, as well as the November 24, 1863, Battle of Lookout Mountain during the American Civil War. Rock City Gardens is a 4,100-foot Enchanted Trail with rock formations, caves, and breathtaking views. Fat Man's Squeeze and Needle's Eye are sections of the trail where walkers pass through sideways! There is a seven-states view from Lover's Leap, pass through Rainbow Hall. As the walk comes to an end in Fairyland Caverns, hand-crafted, larger-than-life dioramas of classic childhood fairy tales are rendered in retro glowing paints. Here Cinderella and her pumpkin coach pulled by mice are the subject in this card. This Linen Era (1930-45) postcard, published in 1949, is in good condition, but shows some edge wear. Genuine Curteich-Chicago. "C.T. Art Colortoneā No. 9B-H1360. Published by Rock City Gardens, Lookout Mountain.
