Description: Description – Pitcher is smooth oblong base porcelain. Pattern is Summer Grove. Motif is purple plums with pink highlights on one side, red currants on the other side, green foliage with a pale amber thin trim. Pitcher holds approximately 44 ounces. Handle has a thumb rest. Dimensions – Pitcher is approximately 8 ½” tall at spout, 7 ¼” tall at rim, 9 ½” from spout to handle. Condition – Pitcher previously owned with no obvious crazing, cracks, or chips. Brand – Charter Club Casuals pattern Summer Grove is discontinued, from 1997 until 2004. Charter Club Casuals were exclusively manufactured for the Federated Department Stores that owned various retailers including Macy’s. In 2007, Federated Department Stores changed names to Macy’s. Pitcher was made in Indonesia.
