Description: Offered here is an unsigned but charming and skillfully rendered watercolor of a flowering plant/tree branch. I really appreciate that the unknown artist has included a single blossom falling from the branch. The colors are vivid despite the years. The watercolor is on a stiff piece of card paper (8 5/8 by 11 3/4 inches) which has a very clear watermark: "J WHATMAN 1856". The watermark likely provides an idea of when this watercolor was made. This watercolor is from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off. Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions". Please check my other listings for additional items of interest. I will combine shipping.
