Description: This is an original movie publicity photograph from T-Men, a 1947 semi-documentary and police procedural style film noir about United States Treasury agents. The film was directed by Anthony Mann and shot by noted noir cameraman John Alton. The film stars Dennis O'Keefe, Mary Meade, Alfred Ryder, Charles McGraw, Wallace Ford, June Lockhart, Reed Hadley, and Jane Randolph. Two US Treasury agents (O'Keefe & Ryder) hunt a successful counterfeiting ring. L-R: Charles McGraw, Jack Overman, Alfred Ryder, Dennis O'Keefe, John Wengraf The film was endorsed by the US Treasury Department: the opening credits are displayed over an image of the department's seal, then former Chief Coordinator of the department's six agencies Elmer Lincoln Irey delivers a monologue describing the objectives of those agencies and lauding their accomplishments. He describes the movie as a composite case from its files entitled "The Shanghai Paper Case". Very good condition 8x10 inch vintage original movie publicity photograph. There is a small scuff on Dennis O'Keefe's arm, and a crease in the lower right corner. All items are carefully packaged and mailed within one business day of receipt of payment.
