Description: RARE - CHAMP, HN-10, MAINE CENTRAL, MEC, WHITE ROAD NAME SET, HO SCALE DECALS In original envelope, UNCUT – UNUSED, (1) set HO scale, CHAMP, HN-10, MAINE CENTRAL, MEC, ROAD NAME SET, White lettering, includes white round “Pine Tree” MEC heralds, Square Maine Central heralds. Road name sets are "generic" decal sets for a specific railroad. In most cases, a Road name set will contain various styles of the railroads Road name (popular styles used), numbers, initials, and sometimes heralds. A Road name set will allow you to decal a variety of freight cars in combination with Dimensional Data sets. Champ is no longer printing decals. Each day more and more decals are sold out AND GONE FOREVER! This may be the last you see of these.CAUTION NOTE: EVEN THOUGH LISTED AS "FACTORY NEW", "LIKE NEW" OR "EXCELLENT", BECAUSE THE ACTUAL AGE OF THIS DECAL SET IS UNKNOWN, IT IS RECOMMENDED that you: (A) Test a small unused area of the decal in water to see if it stays intact, and (B) spray two (2) coats of Testors Dullcoat or a similar clear spray or Microscale Decal Film (recommended), and let dry 24 hrs before you subject them to water, this will help hold them together when you apply them (Although this is not guaranteed). The set that you get may contain one or more decals printed on blue, light pink, white, light green, tan, beige, gray or red (dark pink) backing paper. NOTE: For Bronze Gold decals that have tarnished, use a "Blitz" cloth purchased from any drug store and polish the decals. Just before use, polish by rubbing the cloth over the decals, cut and soak decal as normal. NOTE: I am not a professional, I sell on eBay as a retirement hobby.
