The providence of the manufacturer is not believed to be "Thonet" , but, the design closely mimics Thonet's #10 Rocking Chair. This item has continuously been in our family's collection since the late 1940's. No Shipping : because the chair with padding and container would exceed Ground Shipping requirements of "FedEx" or "UPS" we have elected to only offer "local pickup".
