Description: This is a ceramic mask, that has been Raku fired. It was inspired by the arts of the ancient Aztec people. Work is signed and dated on the back. It is approximately 14 in. tall X 14 in. wide. and is about 3 in. deep. It weighs 4 lbs. 1 oz. This work is not titled. I created this mask in April of 2017, and Raku fired it at a friends place, in October 2017. This mask is brand new. I unfortunately did not create any holes in the mask prior to firing, so this mask can not be efficiently mounted on a wall. However, it can be placed vertical, to rest on a shelf, or lay flat.
