Description: Nice set of VG/VG+ condition original/early copies of Cat Stevens' releases: Matthew & Son/New Masters (rare 2xLP bundle housed in a gatefold jacket), released in 1971, and Very Young and Early Songs, released in 1972. Jackets show visible age/shelfwear, and the back of the tip-on sticker on the Very Young... jacket is coming unpeeled at lower left-edge; there is some visible surface wear across Matthew & Son/New Masters, as well as some possible light water damage/light creasing along top edge and top-right corner; overall shape of both sleeves is sturdy--colors are crisp, and Very Young... is still in partial factory shrink-wrap(!) All three records come with the ORIGINAL Deram printed inner sleeves, with remarkable album recommendations including the Velvet Underground and the Stones. Sleeves show some visible creasing, but are overall in solid shape, with saturated colors. Albums are all conservatively graded as VG+, with dusty but crisp surfaces, and could look Excellent after a proper cleaning. Excellent music/excellent releases! Items sold from private collection.
