Description: This tool is used to remove the case drain filter bowl housing of the electric motor driven hydraulic pump (EMDP) on Boeing 737 series. I came up with this design after fighting to get a variety of large wrenches to fit during removal of the filter bowl. Yes, it is possible to use a large wrench to complete this task. But--this socket makes it MUCH easier to do. It is CNC machined from AISI P20 steel or case hardened AISI 1018 steel. The material depends on the supply chain. Either is more than capable of taking the stresses for this application. Condition is "new”.
