Description: Cute pottery sugar bowl and lid from Italy. The piece has whimsical hens painted on the front of the back of the bowl, and florals in between. There are also painted blue stripe accents. Piece measures 6 1/2 inches handle to handle, 3 inches across the top, 2 1/4 inches across the opening, 2 1/2 inches tall without the lid on, 3 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lid, 2 1/2 inches across the base. Marked on the bottom as shown and says, "CAS VIETRI MADE IN ITALY 641-498 665" Very good used condition. No nicks, chips, cracks, or crazing. There are a couple of pinpoints and a crease as noted.
