Description: Carved Solid Black Walnut Chest - c.1880This carved black walnut chest is very nicely crafted by a talented woodworker. It has great relief carving and incising on top, with a beautiful floral front and geometric fan designs on the sides. The back features carved ivy designs. This is one of the finest carved walnut boxes I've seen in beautiful original condition with just some minor corner wear appropriate to age.
