Description: This superb cocktail dress from Carolina Herrera is made with two distinct parts: The top is a substantial black silk faille embellished on the front with three-dimentional beaded flowers. At the waist, the dress transitions to an ivory-colored skirt with a matelasse floral pattern that gets larger and more pronounced further down the skirt. Unfortunately, our photographs do not show the upper part of the skirt very well, but the larger part of the design at the bottom can be seen more clearly. You can clearly see the correct color and design in the next to last photo of the designer label. The skirt is made in a blend of 65% cotton, 16% polyamide, 14% silk, and 5% acetate. The black (top) and ivory (skirt) linings are silk. Closure is with a back zipper. Labeled size 10.
