Description: Great, used condition, Carl Zeiss 8×50 Oberkochen Vintage Retro Binoculars Lot. All pictured items are included in this sale. This sale includes the Carl Zeiss 8×50 Oberkochen binoculars, plus all original: leather carrying case, green cardboard box, two user manuals, 'Thank You' letter from Zeiss, two newspaper ad clippings for the 8x50, and two original leather straps (the black strap is attached to the 8x50, but there's also an extra brown leather strap). The Zeiss 8×50 Oberkochen binoculars were originally manufactured during 1958, by the Carl Zeiss Co., in West Germany. Functionally, there are no issues with this set. Cosmetically, there are no major scratches on any of the lenses, but there are light surface scuffs. None of these scuffs affect the viewing experience, but it's worth nothing. The only other issue's that the inside of the leather carrying case has a musty smell, which is only apparent up close. Besides the light scuffs and musty case, everything's in really nice condition, especially given that this is nearing 70 years old. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
