Description: Carl Schlieper German Eye Three- Eye 99 Sodbuster DRGM 1423933 Pocket Knife Closed length - 4 5/8” Blade length - 4” Carl Schlieper Model 99 Sodbuster DRGM 1423933 pocket knife made in Solingen, Germany. This knife features the two-eyes banner etching on the blade and a single eye on the tang stamp, that signifies it was made during the “Three-Eye period” of production for Schlieper during the early 70’’s through 1981. Already noted for their high quality, craftsmanship, and durability, the knives from this time period were some of the best the company ever produced. This knife has a single hammer forged, carbon steel, drop point blade that is solid, with no wobble and a great snap. A wooden handle with no chips or cracks. There is noticeable surface patina on the blade and outside bottom of the liner. Most of which, if not all would likely be removed with a proper cleaning.
