Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For your consideration, here is a beautiful necklace from Carada of Naples, Italy, a brand whose signature look is the inclusion of cameos in fashion-forward designs. The necklace alternates black faceted beads and luminous white pearls. I believe the stones are black onyx and freshwater pearls. At front center is a dangling pendant that gives the necklace a Y shape. The pendant incorporates a hand-carved sardonyx shell cameo in a flower design. The cameo is attached to a backing of leather with beadwork hand-knotted around the cameo. The cameo attaches to the necklace and to two dangles attached below with rings of what appear to be mother of pearl. Two staggered length dangles of repeating the black and white theme and with the addition of tiny silver beads complete the design.The necklace fastens with a lobster-style clasp of sterling silver. The necklace is signed “Carada – 925 – ITALY” on a metal disk that attaches to the lobster clasp. Please see photos for the specifics of this lovely design.
