Description: Enhance your mountain biking experience with the CANNONDALE LEFTY MAX - SPV - CARBON FIBER - 26" fork. SPV- stable platform valve damping with adjustable sensitivity and rebound/lockout knob, it also has an internal (replaceable) coil spring. It features a 140 mm suspension travel and an adjustable air and spring suspension type that ensures a smooth ride in all conditions. The fork is made of durable carbon fiber material and aluminum with a steerer tube diameter of 1.5 inches. Outside spacing of the clamps is 6.5 in. and uses a 50mm hub. It will fit a Cannondale Rush or Prophet or others that have the 6.5 in. spacing. For a smaller sized steering tube there are ready available spacers down to 1.25 in. This fork was removed from a 2006 Cannondale Rush and rebuilt by Mendon Cyclesmith approx.10 yrs ago. I replaced this unit with a newer 27 in. model and have kept this one in storage. It worked perfectly when removed, and it still holding air and feels smooth as butter when compressed, it may need a bit of air and tuned for your weight. There is some minor flaking of the polyurethane on the aluminum clamps and a couple of rub marks but everything is still as strong as new.
