John Henry Crandell was born on 17th August 1880 at Haliburton, Ontario, a Widowed Farmer who Homesteaded at Kelwood, Manitoba with 4 kids, he still attested for WW1 on 26/6/17 and served in France, contracting Trench Fever which took him out of the game and he spent the rest of the war in England at various Hospitals and Depots. He was reported deceased on 6 March 1962 from Nanaimo, B.C. NEF on long, slightly soiled original ribbons. His file is now digitized and available for free at Library & Archives Canada All items are unconditionally guaranteed as to authenticity.
