Description: I understand that Californian watercolorist Leonor McNitt was born on December 16, 1928 in California and died on September 01, 1965 at the young age of 36. She was a member of the Sequoia Art Group of Redwood City, CA. According to the San Mateo Times she was a student of Ralp Ledesma. So I think this watercolor is a Northern California landscape painting. This one is signed and dated April '61. It is over 50 years old, under glass, in a heavy wood frame.The painting measures about 11.5" X 18". The frame is about 22" X 28" and I think the frame is not as old as the painting.
