Description: Introducing the handsome Cabbage Patch Kid (CPK) BOY PREEMIE, Dillon Gideon 1984, one of first Preemie dolls manufactured during the 1980s Cabbage Patch Craze and a March of Dimes special addition doll. Dillon Gideon is a 1984 Coleco BOY Preemie with a bald head and beautiful crystal blue eyes. He has with two matching dimples on his cheeks and a yellow plastic pacifier. The head mold #4 and Coleco copyright notice Original Appalachian Art Works Inc., Manufactured by Coleco Ind. Inc., are stamped on the neck and the authenticating Xavier (green) birthmark with 84 signature on the left buttock. This doll is in near mint condition and has been removed from the box to take photographs only. Dillons body tag shows manufacturing in the (KT) factory and the original wrist tag is included as originally attached and is in excellent condition. This doll comes dressed in the original CPK outfit, a red one-piece sailor shit with a white stitched anchor on the pocket and the Cabbage Patch Kid log on the left shoulder. Dillon is wearing white socks with blue strip tied shoes. Note the shoe laces show signs of vintage and could use a gentle cleaning. The doll is in beautiful condition because it has not been handled through the years. Dillon Gideon comes in the original (very good condition) CPK box which has the proof of Coleco purchase number 3870 stamped on the box and includes the 1984 CPK accessories pamphlet. The original Zodys price sticker is located on the bottom of the packaging. Dillons original Birth Certificate and Adoption Papers are included inside the box and have never been opened! The envelope (still attached to the box insert) has a slight patina which you would expect due to the vintage of this doll. The doll comes from a smoke free home and has been well cared for. The owner is of advanced age and its time to let this doll find a new loving home.
