The crystal is in excellent condition and free of any significant scratches. The strap is original to the watch and is starting to feel slightly tacky, but not too bad. The AM radio works as it should. This watch will work with modern headphones using the included 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm jack adapter and sounds great with them. Included with the watch are the aforementioned headphone jack adapter and a new old stock pair of generic earbuds from the 1980s. I highly recommend that you use a new pair of modern headphones as they will sound much better. The included headphones are just a starter set. The odd shaped unique Sanyo watch battery was replaced with modern batteries and they are user replaceable. Please look closely at all of the pictures as they serve as the item condition description. Details The watch was inspected and repaired on August 20, 2024: The movement was disassembled and inspected under 30x magnification for any signs of corrosion or battery damage and cleaned. Repairs were made.New Energizer batteries were installed (the radio and watch batteries are separate). Display stands, decor, mannequin hands, attire on the mannequin hands and measuring devices are for photographic purposes only and are not included in this sale.
