The Sundance 5.5kW 230V Low Flow Heater C3314-1 is designed for Sundance Spas from 2000 onward, ensuring efficient water temperature maintenance. It features a built-in, non-removable high-limit thermo disc switch and is compatible with Sundance 880 and 850 North American 60 Hz models from 2000 to 2015. Note that the external sensor (SD6600-168) is sold separately. For spas made before April 2007, the OEM Hi-Limit Sensor may not fit the new heater's well, so it's recommended to replace both the Smart Heater and Hi-Limit Sensor together to ensure optimal performance and prevent damage. Be aware that Plastic Smart Heaters (6500-310, 6500-315, 6500-316) have a smaller dry well.
