This poster features a stylized Mid-Century Modern design of an Atomic Age US Navy sailors using headsets, a Navy ship and missiles in flight with text that reads TRAIN And GAIN - GO NAVY. The artist did not sign this poster but noted graphic designer Joseph Binder created a number of very similar posters for the US Navy in the mid 1950s and this one appears to match his style very closely so we attribute this one to him. No date is printed on the poster but the lower margin has document code “NRAF 65417”. This is a vintage original cardboard window card style poster. The poster shows moderate handling wear including some creasing to the upper right and lower left corners and a small ding on the right edge near the top. The posters has a couple slight creases in the image area and couple small scattered spots. There are two areas on the back of the poster with surface loss of paper not affecting the front artwork side. The colors are strong, the poster displays nicely and overall condition is very good.
