Description: This is an original antique c.1920 catalog of Underwood Typewriters issued by the Underwood Typewriter Company. This catalog is a booklet format of 32 pages plus the embossed softcovers measuring about 8” x 7”. This catalog is illustrated throughout and has Art Nouveau style borders on the top and bottom of the interior pages. Underwood Typewriter models featured include Model Nos. 3, 4 and 5 with additional pages highlight features and benefits of these typewriters including topics such as “Touch”, “The Typebar Mechanism”, “Individual Key Tension”, “Tabular Stops” and more. This original antique catalog is not dated but is an original antique that looks to date to the 1910s or early 1920s so I’d date it c.1920 or so. This catalog was stored in filing cabinet and is in excellent condition with just light handling wear and modest toning from age. These is an Underwood Typewriter Company branch sales office handstamp on the front and back covers and on the title page and the original owner made a brief notation on page 6.
