Description: For your consideration is a circa 1920 SHEAFFER'S #2 Chased Black Hard Rubber BHR Flat Top Fountain Pen with Sheaffer's Clip and gold nib. The pen is "As-Is" with a chip out of the cap (see pictures 7, 8, and 9) and a crack in the pen barrel where the nib collar inserts into the barrel (see last three pictures 20, 21, and 22). The nickel plated pocket clip reads; "Sheaffer Clip". The gold nib reads; "Sheaffer 2 Self Filling". the nib has a dent or impression on the "2". The barrel has a clear imprint that reads; "Sheaffer's Fort Madison, IA, USA" with 1914 patent dates. The pen will need an ink sac. The pen measures about 4 1/2" inches long when capped.
