Description: This English Regency Horn Fan with a barrel rivet was made in the early 1800's. "The sticks were pierced in molds, plunged into boiling water (which softened them and made them translucent - known as 'green horn') and when cool the designs were painted on. The fan has 22 horn sticks 6-1/4" long and when open it is 12" wide. The rivet is most likely brass. Please contact me for additional information or detailed photographs.
