Description: Here's an antique ceramic advertising toothpick holder from the famous C.D.KENNY CO store chain that was based out of Baltimore....it is shaped like an indian in canoe and has C. D. Kenny Co Austria on back, there is some missing glaze right in the middle of that Measures 2-7/8"tall x 3 1/4"long.......... Vintage used condition. A nice clean item....Cornelius David Kenny opened his first store in Baltimore in 1872. The company had their own brand of coffees,teas, sugar, spices, rice, baking soda, etc. C.D.Kenny had a chain of retail stores throughout the South mainly, but also in Ohio, Pennsylvania,etc. They had many different little advertising giveaways to promote the stores.
