Description: c 1930 John Aynsley & Sons Ltd fine bone china milk jug and sugar bowl, pattern #B1301. Produced in the Aynsley Portland Works, Sutherland Rd, Longton, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Delicately molded and hand decorated with gold banding and swags on a pale green border. The colours remain clear and vibrant, the gilding is unrubbed. Dimensions:The milk jug stands 9 cm tall and spans 13.5 cm from outer edge of the lip to outer edge of the handle.The sugar bowl stands 6 cm tall and has a diameter of 12.5 cm. In excellent original vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or restoration that I can identify. The reverse of both pieces bear the Aynsley, crown and England green back stamp; the sugar bowl has a stamped pattern number. I have listed 10 trios, spare side plates and 2 serving plates in this same pattern separately. Ref 1367
