Description: For sale is a charming, vintage metal trinket box or jewel casket...Weidlich Bros. made this circa 1920's, we think...in very good condition. From a local estate...see our eBay seller's list for more fresh finds. Quite small at approximately 3" by 2" by 1-3/4". The lid is hinged and the original floral-print cloth lining is intact. The finish is antique gold. Rectangular in shape with rounded sides. Molded scenes of romantic 18th century life decorate each side and top in high relief. The lid's view of a gentleman pushing a lady on a swing is particularly endearing. Marks include the Weidlich Bros. logo and Pat Appld For. See all the pictures for the form, decorative scenes, coloration, lining, marks and condition which is very good as noted. Appropriate, minor wear and toning to the finish. No dents, dings or breaks.
