Description: Offered is a Rare and Important Vintage 1905 Postcard that constituted a printing error as to identification of the subject. The subject club is actually The Golf & Tennis Club, separate and apart from The York Country Club. By the time of this PC, the YGTC has already been open for about five years .... by 1910-12, it would be deemed one of the most prestigious clubs in the Country, with "National" members. The image also provides a great look at Sewall's Bridge which also hold the distinction of being the first Pile Bridge constructed in America. Yes, the PC is unused and in Fine condition .... it is original .... and it is often overlooked if found, due to the error in printing.
