Description: c. 1900 Victoria Carlsbad Austria Porcelain Mask Ewer / Pitcher / Jug. Gold trimmed, hand-painted florals with a North Wind face for spout. Handle in the form of a female maiden, such as the prow of a ship. Hand painted. This color combination reminds me of Royal Worcester. Blue printed hallmark reads "Victoria Carlsbad ~ Austria" in a belt around a bird image. This mark was used 1891 – 1918. Additionally, I can see a small number "2" next to a capital "J" impressed on the base. Dimensions: 9" tall, base diameter 3.75”. Top diameter 2.25”, lip to handle 5”.Condition: Very good giftable condition. Mentionable issues: erosion of gold paint on handle and top rim. No visible crazing or discoloration. Other paint intact with good color and without scratches or erosion. No chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. Don't feel anything amiss when I run finger around edges. No signs of previous repair or restoration.Unpacked weight: 1 lb. Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping.
