It came with an incomplete set of chess pieces too big for the checkerboard on the box. I am listing those seperately in lots. The checkerboard consists of brown and silvery lacquers in a stepped design. At the top there is an armorial shield with mushrooms and bamboo leaves in gold leaf. Dimensions are about 9 1/2" by 3 1/2" by 2". There are some bruises at edges and corners and some losses to the silvery lacquers. Now with FREE SHIPPING with tracking in the USA. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age.
