Description: Offered here is a lot of two engravings from the series, produced between 1786 and 1808 by various engravers, that reproduces the collection of original paintings in the "Galerie du Palais Royal" in Paris. Each plate is set in a decorative border and has a description in French of the painting, the painter and the engraver. Both the engravings offered in this lot are of paintings by the 17th century Dutch (thus the title "Ecole Hollandoise") painter Phiippes Wouwermens. The first, entitled "Retour de Chasse", is engraved by Francois Dequevauviller (1745-c. 1807). The second, entitled "La Curee", is by Jacques Couche (1750-1832). Both are incredibly detailed. Both pieces have sheets that are 20 1/4 inches in height by 12 1/4 inches in width. These prints are from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off. Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions". For example, offered maps are of the period. Please check my other listings for additional items of interest. I will combine shipping.
