Extremely small type, each page bordered in red lines with corner motif. CONDITION: Covers show moderate shelf-wear, bumping at corners, spine is intact but loose and faded. Gilt decorations and spot-colour faded but clearly present. Rear cover board has been worn or otherwise abraded in some way, resulting in significant fading, but boards and cloth are still intact. Frontispiece illustration of Byron. Gilt edge to all three open sides of the text block. Endpapers covered at the front with previous owner's bookplate and a rather hippyish looking printed pastedown, else interior appears age-toned but unmarked. Rear signature also appears loose, but the majority of the binding seems solid and leafs easily. An imperfect but attractive copy.
