The Max Duty and Active Duty is no longer available for sale through the Busse Combat because it's Sold Out, and has been Discontinued!The Busse Active Duty was introduced by Jerry Busse in 2002 and has since been discontinued even though it is one of the most popular and versatile models. The size of the knife makes it very easy to wear and carry everywhere if you prefer fixed blades to be on you at all times. The MAX Duty were introduced by Busse Combat at the Blade 2014 and very models were produced as these were not a normal production run. The reason for using the new Elmax steel is because for how thin the blade is, the Busse Combat heat treat makes it really strong and have great edge retention so it will stay sharper for longer periods of time with use without having to sharpen as often. The Max Duty was only made in a small run in certain color combinations for certain Ganzas and Shows! This has a Saber Hollow Ground Doublecut (Bead Blasted) Blade with V-Ground Edge that is Razor Sharp! This one comes with the Textured Black Canvas Micarta Handle. This is the thinnest blade Busse ever made to put on a duty model and it's a real slicer! This knife fits very well in the hand, smooth and not too big, it allows you to easily control slicing with this ultra thin sharp blade. Because this is pre-owned I will be listing this as used and sold "as-is" even though I see no signs of this being used. This is made of Elmax Steel which is heat treated by Busse Combat!
