Description: ABOUT THIS ITEM: Circa 1920 printed paper photo of traveler, photographer, and filmmaker Burton Holmes. This sale for one piece from a set of thirty portraits offered in a promotional packet from Famous Players Lasky Corporation circa 1920. Each piece presented a film star, director, or executive working with Paramount and Artcraft Pictures. Paper-stock printed photo--a light/thin paper stock. Measures approximately 4" X 8.25 inches. Any signature shown on the item is facsimile (not real). Blank back. This sale is for one original antique picture from what was originally a set of 30 film personalities. Rare item, not often offered as a single piece. CONDITION: Wear and tear along top edge as shown; a series of light horizontal creases and heavier diagonal wrinkles through top third of piece ; otherwise just other short and faint wrinkles and bends throughout. No writing on back. Scans show both sides of actual item for sale.
