Description: For sale is a wonderful little pitcher made by the master potter Burlon (B.B.) Craig (1914-2002) Mr. Craig was the most well known of the Catawba Valley folk potters with works in the Smithsonian and other museums. This is a great little piece of his swirl pottery. The two different colors of clay are very delineated and it has a great shape. The pitcher is approximately 3.5” tall and is stamped B.B.Craig m Vale, N.C on the bottom. There are some lighter areas of clay on the bottom edge but there are no chips. I purchased it from the potter at one of his kiln openings.
