My various title descriptions mean the following: - If marked “for repair”, the movement does not currently run and the extent of the reasons is unknown. - If marked “good balance”, the movement does not run but its balance wheel spins freely and the balance staff, balance wheel, and hairspring seem to work. The rest of the balance assembly has not been tested. - If marked “runs off and on”, the movement runs when wound but stops running after a few seconds or when its orientation is changed. - If marked “running”, the movement ticks and runs after being wound. However, the accuracy of the movement has not been tested and I can’t offer guarantees other than the ability for it to tick when wound. - If marked “New” or “NOS”, the movement has not been used previously and runs with full functionality. It may still need to be tuned.
