As to ‘Excavations in the Eagle’s Nest’, the study is available online at Montana Archaeology Society by purchase only. We are including a copy with every purchase. By scrolling through the images of our specimens you will see an image of the front cover of the study you will receive as well as an image of 2 pages of the study itself. ‘Eagle’s Nest’ is a locally termed geographic formation. The name has been adopted by the study authors, however is only identifiable on maps as the drainage area of ‘Eagle Creek.’ Eagle Creek is that drainage area generally flowing downstream (approximately 15 miles) from the southwest to the northeast and located up to and immediately southwest of Redstone, Montana (zip code 59257, latitude: 48.8216926, longitude: -104.9441394). All of our specimens are sold in their natural state (100%) after removing as much loose soil, gravel and vegetation as possible. We have multiple listings from two decades of excavation, however current supply is limited and future supply is subject to the whims of Mother Nature. Your specimen is 25.5 inches wide from tip of horn to tip of horn, approximately 18 inches long (please see pictures) and weighs approximately 17.5 pounds.
