George Emory Bubb was born 24 May 1880 in Codorus, York Co., Pennsylvania, son of William Amos Bubb (1858 - 1933) and Lovina Jamina Steffey (1855 - 1927). On the 25th of December 1913, in New Freedon, York Co., Pennsylvania, he married Nellie May Shaffer or Sheffer, born 15 Feb 1889 in Carroll Co., Maryland, daughter of Charles Franklin Sheffer (1856 - 1947) and Susan R Bailey (1858 - 1941). George died 13 November 1967 and Nellie followed January 1973. They are interred in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, York Co., Pennsylvania.Their children include: Geraldine May Bubb (1917 - 2004), George Shaffer Bubb (1923 - 2020)The photo measures 4.25 x 6.75 inches and comes from the Lewis Yost photography studio in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. Card is in very good condition for its age, but has typical aging, scuffs and wear. Please see photo scans for inspection.
