Description: Classic Brooks B72 leather saddle with double rails leather is torn which is very common on these wider models. IMO, they used slightly thinner leather than the racing models. Good hardware. Good candidate for new leather. date code is printed on the underside of the leather. No dates on the metal carriage. No color stamps, no numbers. I guess this is from the bike boom era. Brooks used different methods at different times. At this time, no one has a full deciphering. I expect the rest of the leather will rip apart if it is ridden on. Good for a museum bike as is.
