We have thoroughly sanitized all surface areas. The remote has 3 new AAA batteries, and all hardware needed is included (hose, coupling, brackets) The hinges are all intact and firm functioning as they should with a soft closing lid. The toilet seat cover does have a few cracks (please see photos). However, the toilet seat itself has no cracks or damage. What you see in the photos is exactly what you'll receive.
