Description: This is a beautiful Royal Doulton Bone China "Afternoon Tea" figurine made in England, depicting 2 ladies on a chaise lounge enjoying a conversation about a love letter together. Unfortunately, as shown in the many photos, the hand holding the letter had broken off. The owner glued it back on but it fell off and went missing. All that's left is the stump and a gob of glue! It's being sold cheap for someone who might be able to hide this broken part. This otherwise beautiful figurine reflects a bygone era with its charm and workmanship. It measures just 5½"" tall, 7½" wide, & 5½" deep. There are no other chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs besides the broken off hand that held the love letter.There's no original box, though it will be securely and safely packaged.
